GENERAL QUESTIONS
The programme takes beginner or novice candidates with little or no flying experience and trains them to become qualified airline pilots.
All candidates must have proof of Indonesian citizenship, be at least 18 years old, have a minimum of a high school education and be fluent in written and spoken English.
There is no age limit for admittance into the program. Applicants must pass their evaluation and demonstrate the mandatory mental health and medical qualifications.
Beyond completing high school, applicants are not required to have completed any higher education or advanced technical training.
Training takes place in Prague, Czech Republic over the course of 24 months.
Yes, successful graduates earn their pilot licence and are guaranteed a commercial pilot job. They are required to pay back the training costs, via salary deductions, only after they are securely employment by CADETPILOT.AERO.
The purpose of this programme is to train cadets to become first officers and eventually captains. We provide a career placement road map for every cadet, beginning from the day they join, to the day they are released as a first officer with one of our partner airlines.
TRAINING DETAILS
Cadets will receive the EASA ATPL 'frozen' licence with a type rating for a specific Aircraft type (e.g. A320 or B737). This allows you to operate as a first officer within an airline company. In some cases, your EASA licence will have to be converted to a third country licence after completion of the programme. Some licensing details are subject to the requirements of specific future employers.
We only cooperate with carefully selected flight training organisations who have a proven history of high-quality training. Our main partner partner for 2022 is Blue Sky Aviation Academy, a well-recognised and EASA-approved training organisation that has produced pilots currently flying with major airlines like Ryanair, Malaysia Airlines, Wizz Air, SmartLynx Airlines, Emirates and many others.
This is an ab Initio programme, meaning all candidates start from the beginning. However, student pilots who have previously completed applicable units of competency at other EASA Registered Training Organisations may receive a credit transfer for those units.
No candidate is required to disclose their personal medical history as part of the selection process. Medical checks in order to obtain a Class 1 medical licence is usually done in the place of training before the training starts, and in coordination with us.
Pilot training takes place in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, a member of the European Union. Prague is known as a perfect location for international students, where you will not only start your career as an airline pilot but also enjoy life as a student.
Candidates admitted into our programme are given their choice of preferred start dates. Usually, there are approximately five different start days throughout the calendar year. These are the dates offered to candidates pending availability. After a candidate is selected for the programme, he or she has one year to commence their training course. This deadline can be extended for a maximum of two years. Note: If the candidate is a university student, they will be permitted to finish their studies.
You will sign a training agreement which will require you to pay back the amount for the training programme by salary deductions. The total amount deducted from your salary depends on the airline that employs you. This amount is normally around 20% of your future basic salary. Note: Reimbursement payments commence only when a graduate has secured employment with an airline.
ASSESMENT & SELECTION PROCESS
The first stage is to pass the application screening. We will then compile a shortlist of candidates we would like to see again. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undertake online testing. This consists of two stages. The first is free for all candidates, the second is only for those who successfully pass the first stage. These stages have been designed to determine your technical and non-technical proficiencies, and include behavioural/situational assessments. Passing the online assessments phase gives you admittance to our main selection day. This is held in your home country and consists of an evaluation in a group session, along with a 30-minute one-on-one interview to discuss your competencies.
From application to acceptance, the selection process happens in several stages over the course of approximately four months.
While the first stages of the application process are carried out through our online testing platform, candidates who successfully pass these initial evaluations will be invited to Manila for the next stage of selection.
Each qualifying candidate is chosen by a selection committee composed of professionals from relevant fields including human resources and psychology, along with pilots, flight trainers (instructors), and other aviation professionals.
Shortlisted applicants who reach the second stage of the assessment process will pay a $300 application fee that covers the advanced screening and psychometric testing in preparation for the final admissions interview.

A monthly allowance is part of the sponsorship scheme and is meant to cover food and other basic personal living costs.
Yes! We provide air tickets, accommodation and EU student visa processing for every cadet as part of our sponsorship scheme.
Yes. While our training programme and sponsorships cover essentials like housing and transportation, you will need to obtain the required documentation to travel internationally. Passports must be valid for a minimum of two years. Candidates who do not have a passport at the time of application will need a valid passport before the start of the course.

Yes. The process of applying for and obtaining a long-term visa can be long and complicated, but we will support you throughout. We have built up relationships with the embassies and departments involved and can help you to get approved quickly and with minimal difficulty.

Cadets can travel on their days off during the programme. VISAs provided to cadets allow them to travel around the EU or visit their home country.
